Too Too Treat!
Halloween with toddlers! SO MUCH FUN! This was the first year that Liam had an idea what he wanted to be for Halloween, Red Iron Man as he told me many times, I still have no idea where the obsession with Iron Man came from as he has never seen anything related to Iron Man, but I'm assuming it is something he heard from a friend. One day in the weeks before Halloween we were at the playground and there was a little boy there in a Power Ranger costume, he and Liam were debating over the virtues of their preferred super hero the whole time, it even got a little emotional, Liam at one point exasperated that the little boy didn't understand why Iron Man was SO much better came over to me crying in frustration. The other boy handled his frustration at Liam's understanding of how much better the Power Ranger was in a more neanderthal way by just shoving Liam. Ha ha, it was all pretty funny to watch.
First we carved our pumpkins. Gavin got to color on his with marker.
Scooping out the guts.
This picture kills me, in the time it took me to pick up my phone to take a picture, Gavin grabbed the pumpkin carving knife, we retrieved it immediately, but the image just makes me laugh.
Now time for some candy.
This picture makes me feel so proud, my husband, a doctor mind you, parading around our neighborhood in orange underwear over black tights. Our neighbors all got a kick out of it though.
After we finished visiting our neighbors we met up with some friends to hit up some more houses.
Big and little Iron Man.
The mamas.
After a long and busy day, it was time for Ryan and I to settle down to a scary movie and raid our kids candy for any and all Reeses.
