A couple of years ago my Aunt Kristy sent out the best Christmas card ever, so in the spirit of that card...
-My house is more often a disaster than not.
-It's 10 months later and I don't think I can use the "I just had a baby" excuse for the fact that I: 1. still can not fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes, 2. always appear frazzled/stressed/tired.
-I am often too impatient with Liam.
-I find that being a mom is the hardest thing that I've ever done and end most days feeling like I was not good enough.
-I watched three episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over the last month...and two episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians. Aaaah, that was painful to admit.
Happy New Year? I guess I could resolve to change some of those things above, but I think I'll just go see if I can find any episodes of Kourtney and Kim Take New York on demand instead.

haha...love it! Happy New Year!
Have I mentioned that I totally follow your aunt's blog? Because I do. She is hilarious. As are you. Ditto on all the motherhood and weight excuses things and though I've not seen any of the above mentioned shows I did manage to watch 4 entire seasons of psych in no more than 2 months. Happy new year!
I am right there with you about being too impatient. You can get just so frazzled and since they are the oldest and most capable it always seems like they are up to something or are trying to push your buttons. I even just had one of these moments this morning. The joy of parenthood- always second guessing yourselves and never feeling like you are doing a good enough job.
I used to watch Real Housewives of Orange County because it was too hard NOT to watch. But after a few (fine, several) episodes I honestly felt like part of my soul was getting sucked into the television. Why are those shows so alluring? I love you even (especially) if you're not a perfect mom - so does Liam.
I think you are an amazing mom but I feel the same way. There's been more than one occasion where I've seriously considered if duct taping your kid to his highchair is considered "abuse". But you always do fun things with your kids and spend time with them and that's what really matters.
Also, I was talking about this the other day. I need to find some other excuse than "I just had a baby" because it's almost been a year... oh geez.
Everyone needs a couple days off from reality right?
