Memories

We are putting together a picture wall in our dining room so we've been going through lots of our pictures from the last couple of years, of course that makes us mushy and sentimental, but it also reminds me of funny things that I never got around to posting. This is one of those things.

During our last couple of months in VA we tried to fit in a bunch of sight seeing that we had neglected during the previous four years. One of those outings was to the Masonic temple just a couple minutes down the road from our place. It was a really fun and interesting experience. Liam used to have a funny habit when we would go to museums of walking like an old serious professor pondering his surroundings, I think he had a lot of practice at museums at that point as we went to a lot of them.

A view of Alexandria. How could I not miss this place?

We took our first trip to a museum since moving here today to a gingerbread house exhibit at the George Eastman house. It was fun, although I wish Liam would have donned his old man pose, he could not keep his hands off the houses! Too many candies for a little man to resist I guess.

Love your post. Glad you dug out the old pics. Yes, it would be hard not to miss Virginia. Very beautiful. I am with Liam - why do they put great candiess on gingerbread houses if they do not plan on you eating it. Hugs

Yep Tanner and I were missing and reminising on our trips to Alexandria just a few days ago. What I miss the most is being able to picture you guys in your environment. We NEED to do something about that.
